摘　　要：评述了中频炉在铸钢熔炼中的基本经济指标,中频炉作为独立炼钢工序的优缺点和冶炼特殊合金方面的优越性。作为前道工序,中频炉与精炼设备如LF炉、AOD炉、VOD炉联合使用,广泛应用于铸钢生产。生产实践证明,中频炉在铸钢领域有着重要作用。The basic economic indicators of the medium frequency induction furnace（MFIF） in the field of cast steel, the advantages and disadvantages of the MFIF as an independent steelmaking process and the superiority in smelting special alloys were discussed. As the former process, combined with other refining equipments such as LF furnace, A0D furnace, V0D furnace, MFIF was widely applied to the cast steel field. Years of production practices show that the MFIF play an important role in the cast steel field.
