Further Investigations into Eunuchs in the Kangxi Period

摘　　要：由于史料失载,清前期多数太监的事迹至今淹没无闻。本文利用新史料和满、汉文档案史籍,对清朝首任敬事房总管太监顾问行、哈哈珠子太监梁九功、哈哈珠子太监魏珠等人的身世经历予以发掘析述,揭示了宦官作为被压迫者和被奴役者,同时又作为清帝指令的传达者和执行者在清朝宫廷政治中发挥的作用。The life stories of many eunuchs in the early Qing have remained unknown due to the lack of historical records. This article investigates and analyzes the lives and experiences of several eunuchs in the Qing Dynasty such as the first Supervisor-in-chief of the Eunuch Office, Gu Wenxing, Haha Juse Liang Jiugong, and Haha Juse Wei Zhu based on the newly-found historical records and the archives in Manchu and Chinese. This article explores how eunuchs, who were oppressed and enslaved, at the same time played their roles in the politics of the Qing court by delivering and executing the Qing emperors＇ instructions.
