摘　　要："Slavery Gave Me Nothing to Lose"是一篇有关黑人种族问题的政论文,反映了该文作者美国著名黑人女作家佐拉·尼尔·赫斯顿健康自信的种族观。可以从人生经历,创作倾向等方面来探究其种族观形成的原因。赫斯顿健康自信种族观有重要的历史和现实意义。This paper reveals Zora Neale Hurston, a black woman writer＇s healthy and confident view of race through the analysis of ＂Slavery Gave Me Nothing to Lose＂. Then the paper tries to explore why she has such a view of race from two aspects： life history and view of writing. At the end of the paper the historical and realistic significance of the healthy and confident view of race is given.
