摘　　要：无锡市影像地图集是通过现代测绘科技,利用数字正射影像图(DOM)及二维GIS数据,导入制图软件CorelDRAW中进行分类分级、标注地理要素与地图符号、信息取舍和概括、图面整饰等处理编制而成。图集采用翔实的地理信息,生动的表现形式,集中展现了城市的地理全貌,反映了无锡的人文风情,彰显出近几年城市规划建设的丰硕成果。据此,介绍了无锡市影像地图集编制的技术依据和设计原则、技术框架与图集成果。The image atlas of Wuxi uses modern surveying and mapping technology to classify geographical elements and annotate map symbol. The information choice and generalization is based on digital orthophoto map( DOM) and 2 D GIS data. Map visualization was compiled by Corel DRAW,the professional graphic design software. The atlas synthesize detailed geographical information and vivid forms of expression to concentrate on showing the geographical feature and the folk customs of Wuxi,highlighting the fruitful achievements of urban planning and construction in recent years. This essay introduces the image atlas of Wuxi via discussing technical basis,design principle and atlas results expression.
