摘　　要：已经式微的挽面民俗在潮汕地区仍然有着一定的生存空间,甚至近年来有复兴之势,挽面美容店铺开始增多,挽面顾客增多。传统潮汕女性在出花园、婚嫁、满月、丧葬、时年八节等习俗中都要挽面。挽面是女性的重要生命民俗事件,承载着性别文化的特殊意义,有着鲜明的女性民俗文化色彩,潮汕女性挽面民俗的发展变迁也从某种程度上反映了女性社会地位的发展与变化。Though the "Face-threading"custom is fading away,there is still a certain living space in Chaoshan area,and there has been a rivival in recent years,with more beauty shops and more customers.Traditional Chaoshan women need to do "face-threading"in some custom occasions,such as coming-of-age ceremony,wedding,a baby's first month birthday,funeral,traditional festivals and so on."Face-threading"is the main folk events in female'life,which carring the special meaning of gender culture.There is a distinct female folk culture feature in the"face-threading"custom of Chaoshan women and it unveals the development and change of female's social status to some extent.
