摘  要:南极绕极流是由南大洋强劲西风带所驱动的地球上唯一一支经向无边界的纬向环流。在不计澳洲(及非洲)阻拦作用的条件下,该文在南美洲将南大洋切开,展开成经纬度坐标下的狭长带状区域,在该海区求解描述海水大尺度运动的地转涡度方程。将流函数在经纬两个方向展为改进Fourier级数。对涡度方程和所有边界条件求Fourier投影,同时引进相应的相容性条件,得到方程的解析解。成功地模拟出沿纬度方向贯穿南大洋的,经向无边界的南极绕极流及强劲的西边界流(南向)巴西暖流和不可忽略的大洋东边界流(北向)——它相当于秘鲁寒流。该东边界流流通量与通过Drake海峡的南极绕极流(ACC——Antarctic Circumpolar Current)流量有负反馈关系。The Antarctic circumpolar current(ACC) is Earth's only longitudinal-boundless zonal ocean circulation driven by the powerful westerlies over the Southern Ocean(SO). This study solves the geostrophic vorticity equation for the large-scale motion of the ocean in this region. Neglecting the obstruction of Australia(and Africa), the SO is split at the longitude of South America and projected into an elongated belt region in the Cartesian coordinate; hence, the stream function can be expanded as two-dimensional(longitudinal and latitudinal) corrected Fourier series. The analytical solution of the vorticity equation can be obtained by a Fourier projection of the equation and its boundary conditions, with introducing the corresponding compatibility condition. This theoretical model successfully simulates the longitudinal-boundless zonal ACC through the SO, strong western boundary current(southward)--the Brazil Current, and non-negligible ocean eastern boundary current(northeward)--equivalent to the Peru Current. The flux of the eastern boundary current has a negative correlation with the ACC through the Drake Passage.
