摘  要:本文研究了边界势调控下石墨烯纳米带的电子性质.当空间反演对称性被子晶格势和边界势破坏时,系统中存在量子谷霍尔相和单边的量子谷霍尔相.考虑自旋轨道相互作用时,边界态对于谷指标和自旋指标都具有螺旋性,所以系统中可以同时存在量子谷霍尔相和量子自旋霍尔相.这些边界态导致了许多不同的谷电流和自旋电流.这些研究结果在自旋电子和谷电子器件方面有潜在的应用价值.We study electronic properties of zigzag-edged graphene nanoribbons engineered by edge potential.The system exhibits both quantum valley Hall phase(QVH) and single-edge QVH phase due to spatial-inversion symmetry breaking driven by staggered sublattice potential and edge potential.Considering the spin-orbit interaction,these edge modes are helical with respect to their valley and spin indexes,thus the system can host both QVH phase and quantum spin Hall phase.We also show that these edge modes lead to a rich variety of valley and spin current states.These results could have potential applications in spintronic and valleytronic devices.
