摘 要:白炭黑(SiO_2·n H_2O)作为橡胶补强剂广泛应用于汽车轮胎工业。以硅烷偶联剂A171为改性剂对白炭黑进行表面改性,考察了改性温度、时间、pH和改性剂质量分数对白炭黑性能的影响,采用X射线衍射(XRD)、热重(TG)、红外光谱(FTIR)、透射电镜(TEM)等对白炭黑进行表征。适宜的改性条件为:改性温度为90℃,改性时间为120 min,pH为2.5,A171质量为白炭黑湿凝胶质量的3.0%时,改性后白炭黑的活化度达100%,表面硅羟基下降,提高了传统白炭黑的疏水性。将白炭黑应用于丁苯橡胶时,300%、500%定伸应力较未改性提高了88.5%、86.3%,拉伸强度提高16.2%,体积磨耗下降12.6%,提高了硫化胶的力学性能和补强性能。As rubber reinforcing agent,silica( SiO2·nH2O) is widely used in the tire industry. In this study,the surface modification of silica is made with silane coupling agent A171 as modifier. Influences of modification temperature,time,pH and addition amount of A171 on the properties of modified silica are investigated. The modified silica are characterized via X-ray diffraction( XRD),thermo gravimetric( TG),infrared spectrum( FTIR),transmission electron microscopy( TEM),etc. The activation grade of modified silica can reach 100%,surface hydroxyl groups of that decreases,and the hydrophobicity is thus improved when the modification temperature is at 90℃,modification time is120 min,pH value is 2. 5,and the adding amount of A171 is 3. 0% of the wet silica gel. When styrene-butadiene rubber( SBR) is blended with the modified silica,its 300% and 500% stretching stress are improved by 88. 5% and 86. 3%respectively,its tensile strength increases 16. 2%,and its abrasion volume decrease about 12. 6% compared with the SBR blended with unmodified silica. Both the mechanical and reinforcing properties of vulcanizing rubber are improved.
