摘　　要：智慧警务代表着美国警务工作的新兴范式,这一模式着重减少犯罪和促进以证据为基础的警务模式的改善。它强调通过本地驱动,与研究人员形成良好的合作关系,有效分析和利用数据,改善绩效评估和检验,最终更好地服务于警方和社会大众。本文简要回顾了美国智慧警务的产生背景、基本概况和几个重要的特质(即本地驱动、发挥科技优势、多维解决方案、以结果为导向和始终致力创新)以及相关经验启示,最后对智慧警务的未来发展作了展望。The police information system of America is set up and maintained on the Internet. The information system is build by the governments at all levels and it is composed of software, hardware and mobile communication. The crime mapping is bases on the geographic information system and it plays an increasingly important role in the police information system of America. At the same time, the police information system of America is extensively used at present and it gives enlightenment for us.
