摘　　要：《潮州耆旧集》是冯奉初编纂的明代潮人文章总集。所录体裁齐全、内容广泛,较为真实地记载和描述了明代国家、特别是潮州地方社会生活的各个方面。由于种种原因,冯氏当年据以编选的各家别集或已亡佚,或流传不广。因此,《潮州耆旧集》拥有较高文献史料价值。The Articles of the Respectable Persons From Chaozhou,complied by Feng Fengchu,is a collection of articles written by respectable people from Chaozhou in Ming Dynasty.The collection is compiled in comprehensive genre and widely involved themes.It veritably described and reflected the social reality of Ming Dynasty,especially that in Chaozhou.Since the original collections on which Feng compiled this collection are mostly lost or not widely spread due to many reasons,the Articles of the Respectable Person From Chaozhou is valuable as historical documentation.
