摘　　要：VEL血型系统抗原是国际输血协会（ISBT）于2014年确认为独立的系统抗原。系统编号：034,系统命名：VEL。目前已经确认该系统有2个抗原,分别命名为：Vel1,编号034001;Vel2,编号034002。VEL抗原是原来的＂系列＂抗原中的高频抗原,是1952年Sussman和Miller发现的,当时划入＂系列＂抗原。2014年发现该抗原属于独立的＂系统＂抗原,之后ISBT将该抗原由原来的＂系列＂抗原重新划入＂系统＂抗原。VEL antigen is a newly recognized system antigen of ISBT in 2014.It is the high frequency antigen in original ＂family＂ antigens.VEL antigens are expressed on the outer membrane segment of the glycoprotein peptide on the cell membrane.At present,the loci and exons of the antigen have been identified,as well as the molecular biological structure and the glycoprotein peptide sequence.The antigen system currently recognizes 2 antigens that can cause both transfusion hemolysis and hemolytic disease of the newborn（HDN）.
