摘　　要：Ecocriticism is a theory discussing the relationship between literary and natural environment.The paper uses ecocriticism to analyze Thomas Hardy’s poem Convergence of the Twain from the aspect of the title,language style and images,aiming at fixing the tie among literary,nature and culture,improving people’s consciousness of protecting environment and warning people to keep a harmonious relationship with nature.Ecocriticism is a theory discussing the relationship between literary and natural environment.
