摘　　要：长期以来,学界对苗族史诗的分类模糊不清,或以"苗族古歌"概而论之,或借用别的民族史诗分类方法来套在苗族的史诗分类上,无法反映出苗族史诗分类的科学性。从已经出版和抢救记录到的苗族史诗情况看,国内外苗族的史诗属于创世史诗、迁徙史诗、婚姻史诗和英雄史诗四种类型。For a long time, there has not been any accurate classification of Miao epics in the academic field. Miao epics are generally categorized as Ancient Folk Songs of Miao or put into patterns of epics of other peoples,which is not a scientific classification of Miao epics. In view of the published and saved texts of Miao epics, they can be divided into 4 classes： genesis epics,migration epics, marriage epics and heroic epics .
