Objective To investigate the effect of a 24 G new needleless needle-type indwelling needle in the treatment of intravenous fluids in pediatric neurology. Methods A total of 120 hospitalized children in our department from July 2015 to August 2015 were rando mly divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method. The rate of instillation, indwelling time,Effect, the incidence of complications, the rate of replacement of scalp needles and the incidence of needle stick injuries. Results Compared with the control group with indwelling needle, the effect of the 24 G new type of positive pressure needle-free indwelling needle in the observation group was lower than that of the control group. The incidences of less vascular injury, red, swollen,Scalp needle replacement less frequency, high efficiency, all of the above differences were statistically significant,P 0. 05. Conclusion The 24 G new type of needleless needle-type indwelling catheter has a new type of anti-blocking material, which reduces the blood components, ensures the liquid infusion rate, reduces the occlusion of the tube, prolongs the retention time and avoids needle stick injury,Protecting medical staff and patients, reducing occupational risks, reducing the number of times a nurse changes scalp needles and reducing the workload of nurses.
