摘 要:一、前言众所周知,光盘存储的突出优点是其只读盘片可以实现低成本的批量复制。只读盘片的读出利用了光的相位调制,坑内和相邻岸上的反射光存在一个相位差,产生相消干涉,从而造成反射光强的减弱。要使BD(Blu-ray Disc)只读盘片(ROM)获得好的信号调制度,坑的宽度应为120-150nm(大概是道间距的一半)。BD-ROM的目标坑宽和读出光斑(数值孔径NA=0.85,波长λ=405nm)的光强分布如图1所示。A new phase-transition mastering(PTM)process was developed for Blu-ray Disc read-only memory(BD-ROM) mastering.Results obtained with both a 266 and 405 nm laser beam recorder(LBR)are discussed in this paper.The feasibility of BDROM mastering was successfully demonstrated on both LBRs.With the insight that 25 Gbytes BD-ROM can be mastered with a 405 nm wavelength LBR,the availability of the 266 nm wavelength LBR opened the route to explore PTM of near-field data densities.First experiments indicate that the PTM process is also suitable for mastering data densities beyond 25 Gbytes data density.
