Objective To analyze and compare the curative effects of different reduction schemes in the treatment of supracondylar fracture of humerus in young patients. Methods From December 2011 to December 2016, 60 patients with supracondylar fracture of humerus treated in our hospital were divided into the observation group(n=30, treated with closed reduction) and the control group(n =30, treated with open reduction), and the therapeutic effects were observed and compared in the two groups. Results The operation time and hospitalization time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the amount of bleeding in the observation group was significantly less than that in the control group(P 0.05). The elbow joint function recovery rate in the observation group was 93.33%, which was significantly higher than 70.00% in the control group(P 0.05). The total complication rate in the observation group was6.67%, which was significantly lower than 26.67% in control group(P〈0.05). Conclusion The reset of closed reduction is safety and stability, with fast function recovery, and reduces the incidence of cubitus varus and cubitus valgus to a certain extent and it is worthy of application.
