摘　　要：针对杭州旧城自晚清到民国前期的形态演化,基于历史地图复原与史料甄选转译,详尽地展示了不同时间断面上历史城市的格局。从宽泛的视野着重探讨杭州旧城近代化的"物象表征"和"价值内因",深入转型中杭州城市空间变革的现象、机理与动因,弥补传统文史类城市研究中以政治事件为导向的视野盲区。藉此,重新评估杭州早期近代化对创建新型城市形态乃至社会空间的影响,对当下的城市更新仍有启发意义。Aiming at the evolution of Hangzhou old city from late Qing dynasty to early Republic of China, this paper based on historical map restoration and translation from historical materials, displays historical city forms in different time section sin detail. From a broad perspective, it focuses on the ＂phenomenon expression＂ and ＂subliminal value＂ in the modernization of Hangzhou old city. It probes deeply into the phenomenon,mechanism and reason of spatial transformation, which remedies the blind area of political event oriented research in traditional literature and history study. In this way, the paper would reevaluate the impact of the early modernization of Hangzhou on the creation of new urban form and the social space, which is still enlightening to the current urban renewal.
