摘 要:过去学界对于基督教出版机构同文书会的论述存在一些分歧或误解。笔者通过查阅原始文献,分析核对具体情况,对四个问题作了辨析:(1)上海同文书会成立后仍然与格拉斯哥书刊协会保持母会与子会的关系;(2)在中文中,同文书会改称广学会的时间应以1892年为准;(3)韦廉臣在1887年之前创办的印刷所为墨海书局,与英国伦敦会的墨海书馆没有继承关系和业务往来;(4)《皇朝经世文续编》不是由同文书会出版,而是由上海一家石印厂印刷的。There are some disagreements and misunderstanding on the Society for the Diffusion of Christian and General Knowledge among the Chinese in the academic circles. Through extensive reading of the original references, four facts have been clarified. Firstly, after its establishment, the Society for the Diffusion of Christian and General Knowledge among the Chinese maintained relationship with Chinese Book and Tract Society in Glasgow as parent society and affiliated society. Secondly, the exact time of renaming its Chinese name from Tong Wen Shu Hui to Guang Xue Hui was in 1892. Thirdly, the printing press founded by Alexander Williamson before 1887 was Mo Hai Shu Ju, which had neither inheritance nor business relation with London Missionary Press founded by London Missionary Society. Fourthly, Huang Chao Jing Shi Wen Xu Bian was published by a lithographic print workhouse in Shanghai rather than the Society for the Diffusion of Christian and General Knowledge among the Chinese.
