摘　　要：随着经济的高速增长,中国已迎来城市化发展的高峰,城市规模不断扩大,城市人口密度快速增长,在此背景下城市物流成为影响经济发展以及人民生产生活的关键。本文分析了现阶段发展城市物流的必要性,指出我国城市物流与众不同的特点及运作难点,提出改变思想、设立专门的城市物流管理部门、注重整体规划、以及大力发展专业物流企业是我国城市物流发展的当务之急。With the rapid growth of economy,China has reached the peak of urbanization.With the increasing expansion of cities,and rapid increase of urban population density,urban logistics has become the critical factor influencing economic development and people’s life and production activities.The paper studies the necessity of developing urban logistics in the present situation,and analyzes the distinct features and operation difficulties of urban logistics in China.Based on the study,the paper puts forth the urgent tasks as follows：changing mindset towards urban logistics; establishing specialized management department for urban logistics; attaching importance to overall planning; making effort to develop logistic enterprises.
