摘  要:科研人员的引文动机是源自于知识启迪,还是为了引用权威增加自己研究成果的说服力,学术界对此一直充满争议,这是一个关乎引文评价合法性的重要问题。文章以CNKI数据库中"图书情报与数字图书馆"领域2001-2010年间发表的198,518条文献题录中的337篇重复发表论文为研究对象,以刊物等级、重发路径、发表性质、学科跨度为解释变量,以下载次数、被引次数为被解释变量,分析我国图情学界科研人员的引文动机。研究结果显示:在论文质量完全相同的情况下,学者写作时会引用发表在核心期刊上的论文。这表明在有效控制论文质量的前提下,科研人员的引文动机具有明显的权威尊崇色彩,符合说服论对引文动机的理论解释。The academia has a long debate on the motivation for citation: whether it is originated from the enlightenment of knowledge or the adoration of cited authority for increasing their research persuasiveness. Therefore, citation motivation is an important consideration for the legitimacy of citation evaluation. This research has selected 337 duplicate publications from 198,518 article references in the period between 2001 to 2010. Data is retrieved from the CNKI "LIS & digital library" database. The dependent variable is academic recognition and which is measured by downloading frequency and citation frequency. The independent variables are the reasons of duplication, status of the journals, publication channels and whether the journals belong to the same subject discipline or not. The result shows that where the paper is published would matter most. Those papers published in core journals will get more citations than their equivalents published in non-core journals. So the persuasion theory can better explain the citation motivation in Chinese academia where citation acts as a persuasive tool for showing adoration to authorities.
