摘　　要：高校档案馆的建设是我国档案事业的重要组成部分。高校档案是高校教书育人、科学研究、文化传承、服务社会的直接记录,也是整个社会档案信息资源的重要组成部分,具有直接的社会价值。明确高校档案馆的社会定位,分析高校档案馆社会开放的必要性与可能性,是推动高校档案馆的社会开放、共享档案信息资源、更好地发挥高校档案馆的社会职能的基本途径。本文希望通过对高校档案馆的社会定位与社会开放的可能性和必要性的探讨推进高校档案工作的创新和发展研究,也为其他档案服务机构提供参考借鉴。University Archives as China＇s cultural institutions, contains the massive archives information resources, is the scientific innovation, teaching and research very valuable cultural heritage treasures, the University Archives basically did not open to the public, only clear University Archives social orientation, careful analysis of the necessity of university archives open society with the possibility, in order to promote the university archives open society, sharing of archives information resources, in order to better play the function of the social functions of University archives. Therefore, this paper will further explore the possibility and necessity of University Archives＇ social orientation and social opening, hoping to promote the innovation and development of archives work in Colleges and universities, and provide reference for other archival service institutions.
