摘　　要：从病因病机、辨证论治、应用注意方面总结和整理刘持年教授治疗老年高血压的临证经验。刘老师根据临床经验，辨人识体，认为肾虚是该病的基本病机，肾气虚衰、肾阳不足、阴虚阳亢、脾虚湿盛、气虚血瘀为常见证型，灵活运用金匮肾气丸、益肾降压汤、右归丸、六味地黄丸、建瓴汤等方剂进行治疗，临床效果显著。This paper summarizes and organizes professor LIU Chinian＇s experience in treating senile hypertension from the etiology, pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation and treatment, precautions for use. According to clinical experience,Prof. LIU treats senile hypertension by syndrome differentiation. He holds that the basic pathogenesis of the disease is kidney deficiency and the common syndromes are ：deficiency of kidney qi ,insufficiency of kidney yang,yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity,damp abundance due to spleen deficiency,qi deficiency and blood stasis. He uses the Chinese classical formulas flexibly such as：Jingui Shenqi Pills,Yishen Jiangya Decoction,Yougui Pills,Liuwei Dihuang Pills and Jianling Decoction and so on to treat senile hypertension efficiently.
