摘　　要：夏传才先生治学与其为人一致,具有崇高的理想和紧迫的使命感。他以脚踏实地的工作为依托,表现出热忱、真挚、认真、扎实的作风。学术上主张探讨与传承中华文化传统相关的重大课题,具体研究则善于将宏观架构与严谨细致的微观论述相结合。治学成果往往具有开山之功,视野开阔、论题宏大新颖,同时论证又具体充实。他的普及性著作内容平实,但不乏独到看法。他还具有勇于纠误、自我革新的治学品格。Professor Xia Chuancai pursues a consistent way of life and learning,and possesses great ideals and a sense of urgency and commission.His down-to-earth attitudes towards working,together with enthusiasm,sincerity,conscientiousness and pragmatism in academic learning render him to carry out key research projects in relation to Chinese cultural tradition.His researches reveal his unparalleled and indepth profundity with supportive details in addition to correction of errors and self renovation.
