摘　　要：基于建筑美学视点,从融会古今中外的文化内涵、表达时代意蕴的形象喻义和激发情感共鸣的审美联想三个方面分析莫伯治在新表现主义创作探索中的美学思想,总结其理论研究的深度、美学追求的高度与实践拓展的广度。莫伯治对建筑美学的不懈追求以及文化表现的勇于探索,都将对当代岭南建筑学派的创作与研究产生积极深远的影响。Based on the viewpoint of architectural aesthetics, Mo Bozhi＇s aesthetic pursuit in the exploration of new expressionism is analyzed from three aspects： combining the cultural connotations of ancient and modern,domestic and abroad; image metaphor expressing the era＇s significance; aesthetic imagination of inspiring emotional response. Also, the depth of his theoretical research, the height of the aesthetic pursuit and the breadth of practical development are summarized. Mo Bozhi＇s unremitting pursuit of architectural aesthetics and adventurous exploration of cultural expression will have a positive and profound impact on the creation and research of the contemporary Lingnan Architecture School.
