摘  要:基于进一步提高当前片上开关电容电压转换器供电效率的目的,设计转换电容调制的方法,使电压转换器根据负载电压需求,选择合适的转换电容容值,进而在选择电压档位的基础上,提供更细粒度的输出电压,降低总功耗。对于2:1转换比例的拓扑设置,在负载功耗需求较低的情况下,相比固定电容电压转换器,所提出的电压转换器在满足负载电压需求的前提下,可以实现27%的电压转换效率提升,同时输出电压纹波仍能控制在50 mV之内。在负载功耗需求较高的情况下,电容调制仍可以使电压转换器效率提升12%。In order to further improve the power efficiency of current on-chip switched-capacitor voltage regulator, this paper proposed a capacitance modulation method to help select reasonable capacitance based on the load demand. On the basis of conversion ratio selection, more fine-grained output voltage can be provided. Therefore, the power can be reduced. For the 2:1 conversion topology, when the load power demand is relatively low, compared with fixed-capacitance voltage regulator, the proposed regulator can meet the load power demand, and realize 27% power efficiency improvement. Meanwhile,the output voltage ripple was remained within 50 mV; when the load power demand is high, capacitance modulation can realize a power efficiency increment of 12%.
