摘 要:布里渊光时域分析(Brillouin Optical Time Domain Anal ysis,BOTDA)的测量分辨率和可测量距离之间相互制约,不能同时提高,基于脉冲编码调制的BOTDA可解决此问题。介绍了基于脉冲编码调制的BOTDA系统的原理和优点,重点讲述了该系统中脉冲编码技术的原理及其研究进展,其编码技术包括Golay码、Simplex码、Walsh码、CCPON码和单工循环编码。从编码增益、系统时间复杂度和空间分辨率3个角度对5种主要编码技术进行了分析比较,得出基于5种编码方式的BOTDA的优缺点。The measurement resolution and the measurable distance of Brillouin optical time domain analysis(BOTDA) are mutual restraint which can' t be improved at the same time, BOTDA based on pulse coding modulation can solves this problem. This paper introduces the principle as well as advantages of BOTDA based on pulse coding modulation, explains the principle and research progress of the pulse coding technology including Golay coding, Simplex coding, Walsh coding, cyclic simplex coding and CCPON coding emphatically. The paper sets out an analysis from three perspectives as to the performance of the five pulse coding technology and the three perspectives include coding gain, timing complexity for system and spatial resolution. The paper obtains the advantages and disadvantages of BOTDA based on the five coding methods respectively.
