摘　　要：美国大学的共同治理制度一直是其高质量教学和科研的保障,但随着政府财政支持的减少、外部问责的增加、知识生产模式的变革及共同治理自身问题的显露,强调绩效和监管的公司化治理模式迎合了大学外在市场逻辑的需求而悄然浸入大学治理中,共同治理面对存亡的质疑并开始式微。哈贝马斯协商民主理论中的主体间交往、"生活世界"和"系统"为美国大学内部的治理走向提供了强有力的理论基础,论证了美国大学共同治理存在的合理性及必要性。The shared governance in American Universities is always being the main way to guarantee the high quality of teaching and research. However,with the reduction of government financial support,the increase of external accountability,the change of the mode of knowledge production and the revelation of the problems of the common governance itself,the corporate governance mode meets the demand of the market logic and has an impact on university governance. The shared governance faces challenges and begins to decline. Habermas’ s deliberative democracy theory provides a strong theoretical basis for intergovernmental communication,＂life world＂and ＂system＂,and demonstrates the rationality and necessity of the existence of the shared governance in American universities.
