摘　　要：语言与社会的共变关系为在社会语言学视角下研究英语新词提供了理论基础。基于《中国日报》英语点津新词介绍、《牛津词典》新词新语收录以及COCA语料库等相关检索,运用案例分析法从政治、经济和文化领域探究英语新词来源理据,同时在该视角下对英语新词发展前景进行展望。The research into the sources and prospects of English neologisms from the perspective of sociolinguistics is based on the co-variation relationship between language and society.The research in question is carried out on the basis of such retrieval sources as the English neologisms in China Daily,the inclusion of neologisms in Oxford Dictionary and COCA corpus.The study is presented with case analyses and the prospects of English neologisms are examined as well,both of which derive from the findings in political,economic and cultural fields.
