摘  要:威斯康星思想的诞生标志着大学开始从封闭的"象牙塔"走向社会。其所蕴含的高等教育服务社会理念,在美国地方高校发展史上熠熠生辉。我国地方本科高校转型发展可以借鉴威斯康星思想,立足于服务地方的理念,科学规划高校的办学定位;注重培养应用型人才,为区域经济发展提供对口人力资源;推进开放办学,构建多元治理结构,发挥和整合非学校育人主体的积极作用。The birth of Wisconsin thought marks the beginning of universities from the closed "ivory tower" to the society. Its social concept of higher-education service is shining in the history of American local universities. Chi- na can learn from Wisconsin thought in the transformation and development of China's local universities, based on serving-locality idea to scientifically plan the orientation of universities; paying attention to the cultivation of applied talents to provide human resources for regional economic development; promoting the open education and building the multiple governance structure to give play to and integrate the positive role of non-school education subject.
