摘　　要：《迈克尔·K的生活和时代》作为库切早期的作品,以其寓言式的精巧结构和开放式的思考引起读者和评论家的关注和争议。结合空间叙事理论,从存在空间、社会空间和心理空间来挖掘小说中的叙事艺术以及空间表征意义,了解库切从历史视角下对个人命运和国家命运的反思。Life ＆ Times of Michael K is J.M Coetzee’s early work.It aroused a lot of readers’ and critics’ concerns and arguments for its structure and connotation.The thematic meaning of the work is studied from the perspectives of geographical space,social space and psychological space to explore the spatial narration and representation,which can help the readers have a better understanding of Coetzee’s reflection on personal life and country’s fate.
