摘  要:为了与蓬勃发展的知识经济、丰富多彩的知识需求相适应,当今知识服务的规模、模态也发生了巨大的变化。就知识服务而言,百科全书有着与之最为契合的内在关联。在信息化、互联网高度发达的今天,现代化新型百科全书在知识服务方面可以大显身手。传统百科全书有必要加快网络化进程,围绕当今知识服务基本要点进行设计和编纂,守正出新,是胜出的关键。Today,the scale and modes of knowledge service has changed dramatically to keep up with the fasting-growing knowledge economy and rich and diversified knowledge demands.Encyclopedia are most closely linked to knowledge service and the modern and up-to-date ones can fully exert themselves in the field of knowledge service in this age of information and Internet development. Traditional encyclopedia need to accelerate their networking effort and new encyclopedia should be designed and compiled centering around the basic points of knowledge service. Striving to produce new encyclopedia while keeping to the right compilation tradition is key to their success.
