摘 要:对国内外城市形象的理论研究进行了梳理,指出城市形象研究可分为塑造与感知两方面,二者相辅相成、缺一不可。对广州城市形象的塑造和感知研究进行了分析,发现对广州城市形象的塑造研究多,感知研究少;经验研究多,实证研究少。在城市形象的理论研究中,强调城市形象是一种主观和客观、感性和理性、综合表现和具体感知的结合。塑造城市形象的目的是希望人们能感受到一所城市的理念、精神所在。城市形象的一系列建设也是为了使人们感受到其所彰显的价值理念和特色。基于此,对城市形象的研究要塑造与感知并重,对城市形象感知方面的研究亟需加强。The paper combs the theoretical research of city image at home and abroad, and points out that city image research is divided into two complementary and inseparable aspects: shaping and perception. It analyzes the research status of city image of Guangzhou, finding the research is abundant about image shaping but scarce about image perception, abundant in experiential study but scarce in empirical study. It holds that cityimage is a combination of subjectivity and objectivity, of sentimentality and rationality, of overall performance and concrete perceptions, which stands for the city's ideal people are expected to perceive. Consequently it suggests that the study of city image should take both shaping and perception into account with an emphasis on perception study.
