Objective To observe the clinical effect of minimally invasive surgical techniques in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. Methods A total of 78 patients with gastrointestinal diseases were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 39 cases in each group. The control group received conventional method for treatment, and the observation group received minimally invasive surgical techniques for treatment. Comparison were made on treatment effect occurrence of adverse reactions between the two groups. Results The observation group had obviously higher total treatment effective rate as 89.74% than 71.79% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05). The observation group had obviously lower incidence of adverse reactions as 10.26% than 28.21% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05). Conclusion Application of minimally invasive surgical techniques in treating gastrointestinal diseases can significantly improve the treatment effect, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions to a large extent and improve the quality of life of patients. It is of wide application value and is worthy of popularization and implementation.
