摘　　要：高等教育问责研究需要加强基本理论问题探讨。通过综合词语、要素与发展等三种分析视角,对高等教育问责的概念进行初步界定。在类型对比上,对内部问责与外部问责、市场问责与社会问责、大学教育问责与大学行政问责的关系进行梳理和厘清。从总体上来看,高等教育问责具有外部干预性、取向多样性与关系复杂性的基本特点。The research on accountability in higher education needs to strengthen the discussion on basic theoretical problems.Based on synthesizing three perspectives of words,elements and development,this paper tries to define the concept of higher education accountability preliminarily. Besides,the paper makes a review and clarification of the relationship between types such as internal accountability vs. external accountability,market accountability vs. social accountability,the educational accountability vs. administrative accountability in higher learning institutions. Generally speaking,accountability in higher education has the basic characteristics of external interference,diversity of orientation and complexity of relations.
