“大师框架”与理论纷争——读大陆学者对乔姆斯基的访谈

摘　　要：本文讨论司富珍与李福印分别于2008年与2010年和乔姆斯基进行的访谈。文章以李福印的访谈为重点,分析和评论乔姆斯基如何面对其他理论框架的质疑和挑战。本文指出,乔姆斯基倾向于以简单漫画式的方式来处理竞争性理论的实质内容,在没有深度了解这些理论的情况下抹杀不同理论之间的实质性差异,通过预设生成语法理念的正确性来评论其他理论的地位。本文提出"学术大师框架"这一理想化认知模式,指出乔氏处理理论挑战的方式与采访者心中的"学术大师框架"具有很大的落差,而语言学的科学发展需要研究者以理性的态度来抗衡这一理想化认知模式。Drawing on the interviews Si Fuzhen and Li Fuyin had with Noam Chomsky in 2008 and 2010 respectively,this article analyzes and comments on how Chomsky reacts to competing theoretical frameworks.It is pointed out that Chomsky tends to make a caricature of competing theories,ignore fundamental differences between alternative theories and generative grammar,and evaluate alternative theories by presupposing generative notions.The way Chomsky reacts to competing theories falls far short of the"great master frame"the interviewer may have assumed,an idealized cognitive model which scholars should guard against.
