摘 要:目的:探究番茄红素蜂胶胶囊对去势雄性大鼠前列腺增生的改善作用。方法:雄性去势SD大鼠,皮下注射丙酸睾丸素建立前列腺增生模型,灌胃给予番茄红素蜂胶胶囊,考察其对大鼠前列腺湿质量、前列腺体积、SOD、MDA水平及前列腺组织结构的影响。结果:高剂量番茄红素蜂胶胶囊能降低前列腺增生大鼠的前列腺指数(PI)及前列腺增生率(P<0.05),并提高组织中SOD活力(P<0.05)。结论:番茄红素蜂胶胶囊具有改善实验性前列腺增生的作用。Objective: To investigate whether Lycopene compound possess a protective effect on benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) induced by testosterone propionate in male castrated SD rats. Methods: BPH was induced by subcutaneous administration of testosterone propionate in male castrated SD rats. We evaluated the efficacy of Lycopene compound against BPH by detecting the volume of prostate, weighting the prostate tissue, measuring SOD and MDA level of prostate tissue and performing histopathological studies. Results: Administration of Lycopene compound prohibited significant inhibition of prostate enlargement and reduction the PI and the volume growth rate of prostate (P〈0.05). Moreover, the activity of SOD was also enhanced (P〈0.05). Conclusion: Present study showed that the Lycopene compound has protective effect on BPH.
