摘 要:教师评议机构在大学内部权力配置状况取决于校领导对教师评议机构的重视情况和评议机构本身的影响力。美国、英国和中国大学教师评议机构在大学内部权力配置模式分别为辅助模式、制衡模式和依附模式。要充分发挥我国教师评议机构在大学治理中的作用,需要三个条件:第一,学校决策层要重视和尊重教师评议机构的意见;第二,建立健全教师评议机构的常务委员会和专业委员会,并增加教师评议机构会议次数;第三,教师评议机构代表要真正履行其职能,积极参与讨论;第四,建立教师评议机构和学校行政机构的制度化沟通渠道。The authority of faculty senates depends on whether administrators take faculty senates seriously and the influence of faculty senates. Faculty senates of universities in the United States, UK, and China play different roles in universities governance, which are the assistant mode, the check and balance mode and the dependency mode respectively. In order to play the full role of faculty senates, firstly, universities administrators should respect faculty senates; secondly, we need to establish standing committees and professional committees of faculty senates, and increase the frequency of faculty senates meetings ; thirdly, representatives of faculty senates should participate in the discussion during meetings actively; and fourthly, institutional communication channels between faculty members and administrators should be established.
