摘　　要：氟与生命健康的关系既是一个古老话题,也是一个现代话题。开始对它的认识是它的负面作用,即它可以引起氟斑牙;进一步认识到它可以引起氟骨症,如严重时关节变形、影响运动乃至骨折;再后来,认识到它可以影响智力发育、生殖以及免疫等许多功能。关于对氟的有益作用认识,最早认为适量氟可以减少龋齿的发生,这就是后来欧美一些国家或地区出台饮水加氟政策的基础。然而,通过几十年的防控实践,发现饮水加氟起不到当时想象的作用,反而明显增加了氟中毒的机会。目前许多国家、美国的一些行政区已经停止饮水加氟,站在国家层面,美国也于2015年第一次历史性地降低了饮水氟的标准。The relationship between fluoride and the health is not only an old,but also a modern topic.At very early time,the negative effect of fluoride was noticed because of dental fluorosis.Later on,fluoride was known to be responsible for bone fluorosis which caused joints deformation and crippling skeletal condition in severe cases.During recent years,fluoride was also found to influence normal functions of many organs and tissues,such as brain development,reproduction and immunity system,etc.On the other hands,fluoride was considered to be able to reduce tooth decay at early time,which was the foundation of water fluoridation in some countries and regions.Although fluoride is safe for dental health at low concentration,sustained consumption of large amount of soluble fluoride is dangerous and will lead to toxicity and adverse effects.Thereby,many countries halted water fluoridation,and the enforceable drinking water standard for fluoride in USA was decreased for the first time in 2015.
