摘　　要：五台山是世界文化景观遗产,佛教文化积淀深厚。五台山又是"华北屋脊",号称"清凉胜境",夏季气候宜人,旅游一片火热,冬半年游者甚少,存在着明显的旅游淡季。文章在实地考察、社会调查的基础上,通过数理统计、文献研究,剖析了五台山旅游现状,着重分析其旅游淡季成因,并构建了五台山淡季旅游开发的可行性对策。Mount Wutai is the World Cuhural Landscape Heritage with profound Buddhist culture. Also, it is ＂the ridge of North Chi- na＂,well -known as ＂cool and refreshing resort＂. In summer when the climate is very pleasant, the local tourism is flourishing while there are much less tourists in winter,which forms a strong contrast between different tourism seasons. This essay,based on field trips and social investigations, analyses Mount Wutai＇s current tourism situation by mathematical statistics and literature research, focusing on reasons of off - season situations and constructing feasible strategies for the off - season tourism development of Mount Wutai.
