摘　　要：本文完整呈现对沃纳·奥克斯林(Werner Oechslin)教授的专访,内容涉及图书馆运营、善待知识之方式、知识的后起生命、历史与历史性、历史理论批评之本质、术语翻译与学术立场、历史与设计之关系、何谓之美、现代建筑的理想模型、史学家生命之意义等十个方面,通过绵密而细致的对谈呈现奥克斯林教授对历史学家之天职的理解。This paper, based on the interview given by Jiawei Jiang to Professor Werner Oechslin, dissects the following sequential issues： running a library, ways of befriending knowledge, the afterlife of knowledge, history and historicity, essence of history-theory-criticism, terminological translations and academic positions, relations of history and design, what is beauty, the ideal model of modern architecture, significance of the life of a historian. Through the condensed and terse talk one might have an overview of how Oechslin understands and elaborates the vocation of a historian.
