摘　　要：比较系统的东乡族研究工作开始于1956年的中国少数民族语言调查和1958年的中国少数民族社会历史调查。这两项工作是随着国家民族识别工作的开展而逐步展开的。改革开放以后,东乡族研究工作重新启动,研究的内容涉及东乡族的历史、社会生活、文化、宗教等方面,从文学、民俗学、民族学、社会学等不同的学科层面研究阐述了东乡族绚丽多彩的民族文化,为研究该民族的历史、经济、宗教、心理、道德、语言等提供了丰富的直接或间接资料。Scientific studies on Dongxiang ethnic minority were initiated by Chinese Minorities＇ Languages Survey in 1956 and Chinese minorities＇ social and historical survey in 1958, and gradually pro-gressed with China＇s nationality identification implementation. After the reform and opening - up policy, studies on Dongxiang Ethnic Minority were restarted, involving its history, social life, culture and religion, etc. , which exposited its splendid and colorful ethnic culture from different aspects of literature, folklore, ethnicity and sociology, providing abundant direct and indirect materials for studying its history, religion, psychology, morality and language, etc.
