Study on the Operating Efficiency of For-profit Hospitals in Beijing

摘　　要：目的:了解北京市营利性医院运行效率情况,为医院优化资源配置和提高技术效率提供建议。方法:通过整理北京市卫生统计年报,并筛选181所医院个案数据库,采用数据包络分析方法进行效率评价。结果:北京市181所营利性医院中21所总体有效,占纳入分析医院总量的11.60%,有效医院包括18所一级医院、1所二级医院、1所三级医院、1所未评级医院(7所综合医院,5所中医医院,9所专科医院);非总体有效的医院绝大多处于规模收益递增阶段。结论:从DEA的分析结果显示本区医院运行效率有待提高。Objective： To understand the operation efficiency of for-profit hospitals in Beijing, and to provide suggestions for optimizing the allocation of resources and improving the technical efficiency. Methods： By sorting out annual reports of health statistics in Beijing, 181 hospitals were screened, and data envelopment analysis was used to evaluate the efficiency. Results： Of the 181 for-profit hospitals in Beijing, 21 hospitals are generally effective, accounting for 11.60% of the total volume of the analysis hospitals. The effective hospital include 18 hospitals of grade one, 1 hospital of grade two, 1 hospital of grade three, and I none-rate hospital （7 general hospitals, 5 TCM hospitals and 9 specialized hospitals）. Most non-effective hospitals are at an increasing stage of income. Conclusion： The DEA analysis results showed that the running efficiency of the hospital needs to be improved.
