摘　　要：福克纳的经典作品《村子》体现了强烈的地理空间特质。在列斐伏尔空间生产理论观照下,"村子"被来自北方的新兴资产阶级代表弗莱姆入侵,其地理空间被弗莱姆占有并再生产,颠覆了南方原有的生产关系和人情伦理,造成了极大破坏。作为美国南方的缩影,"村子"的际遇具有极强的象征意义与思想内涵。它既是福克纳对衰败的南方社区献上的挽歌,也是对资本主义贪婪本性的犀利批判。The Hamlet is a classic work by Faulkner which embodies strong geographical traits. Under Lefeb-vre＇s theory of space production, the ＂village＂ is invaded by the representative of the new bourgeoisie from thenorth, Flem. The sub-geographic space occupied and reproduced by Flem causes great damage to the originalproduction relations and human ethic in the South. As the epitome of the South, the ＂village＂ has a strong symbol-ic and ideological connotation. It is Faulkner＇s elegiac dedication to the decaying southern community, and also asharp criticism of capitalism＇s greedy nature.
