摘 要:迈入"新时代"的中国亟需将国家形象塑造行为提升至战略层面。象征政治学理路基于国家形象的象征本质,可为该战略提供合宜的、具有框架性的理论解释。首先,战略的实施环境是一种政治象征系统;其次,战略的三种基本角色(规划者、受众和形象载体)以象征意义为核心处理彼此间的关系;第三,战略基本图式的构建以象征的生产和再生产为主脉。国家形象战略的中国方案应兼顾普遍性与特殊性的要求:1)中国需在全球性的象征系统中与各方展开象征资本的交易;2)中国遴选的象征载体不可引发任何受众的伦理之忧;3)中国国家形象战略需满足"真实""良善"和"完美"这三种兼具递进性和系统性的诉求。As China enters the "New Era", it is urgent to elevate its national image-building to the strategic level. Based on the symbolic essence of national image, the symbolic politics approach can provide a theoretical framework for this strategy. First, the strate- gy's implementation environment is a political symbol system. Second, the strategy's three basic roles (planner, audience and image carri- er) take symbolic meaning as the core to deal with the relationship among them. Third, the construction of the strategy's basic schema de- pends on the production and reproduction of symbols. The Chinese approach of national image strategy should take into account the uni- versality and particularity: 1) China needs to conduct symbolic capital transactions with other countries in a global symbolic system; 2) The selected symbolic carrier should not arouse ethical worries among audience; 3) The strategy needs to be "truth", "good" and "perfect" which are demands of three progressive levels in the same system.
