摘　　要：进入21世纪以来,计算机技术迎来了一个快速发展的时期,极大地推动了CAD/CAM技术在机械制造业中的应用,尤其在汽车、模具、钣金等领域有着更为广泛的应用。但是当前的机械行业除了一些资金雄厚、技术力量强大的知名企业运用了现代化的设计方法、制造技术外,大多数的中小企业仍坚持使用一些传统的设计方法,未能深刻地认识到新的设计方法的重要性。本文先简要地阐述了CAD/CAM软件的功能、特点,在此基础上,详细地分析了将CAD/CAM技术应用于机械产品设计及加工中的一般方法和过程,最终讲述了将CAD/CAM技术应用于机械产品设计及加工中的应用价值。Since twenty-first Century,the computer technology ushered in a period of rapid development,greatly promoted the application of CAD/CAM technology in the machinery manufacturing industry,especially in the automotive,mold,sheet metal and other fields have a more extensive application.But the current machinery industry in addition to some strong capital,strong technical force of the well-known enterprises using the design method and modern manufacturing technology,the majority of small and medium enterprises still insist on the use of some traditional design methods,failed to recognize the importance of the new design method.This paper briefly expounds the functions and features of CAD/CAM software,based on the detailed analysis of the general method and process of the application of CAD/CAM in mechanical product design and processing,finally describes the CAD/CAM technology will be applied to the mechanical product design and processing in the application value.
