摘　　要：1840年鸦片战争前的粤海关,虽未设立现代意义上的海关统计机构,但海关统计指标体系、统计资料及统计数据的管理与应用机制已在粤海关中存在,进出口统计资料较为齐全,记录较为完整,统计资料管理严格,是古代中国海关统计工作水平的重要标志。Although there was no modern department of statistics in Canton Customs before the first Opium War（ 1840-1842）,a statistical mechanism that included statistical index,management and application of statistical data had already existed,providing complete import and export records,and there was a strict management of statistics. It reflects the advancement in the management of customs statistics in imperial China.
