摘　　要：栗蚕,俗称为核桃楸蚕或灯笼茧蚕,是鳞翅目大蚕蛾科完全变态的野生吐丝经济昆虫。本文用文字和图片形式详细介绍了栗蚕的卵、幼虫、蛹、蛾的形态特征,概述了幼虫和成虫的生活习性,提出对栗蚕的进一步驯化、选择和提纯问题。Chestnut silkworm, commonly known as chestnut Manchurian silkworm or lantern cocoon silkworm,is a totally abnormal wild filamentous economic insect of Lepidoptera, Bombyx mongolicae. In this paper, the morphological characteristics of eggs, larvae, pupae and moths of chestnut silk worm are introduced in detail in the form of characters and pictures. The living habits of larvae and a dults are summarized, and the problems on further domestication, selection and purification of chest nut silkworm were put forward.
