The M Oilfield is a pilot test area for offshore low-permeability reservoir development and it is of great significance to clarify the fracture properties and its impact on development.Core test,thin-section,imaging logging,pre-production test and other data are comprehensively used to study the effects of fracture on productivity through geology and statistical method.Result shows that the fractures in the low-permeability reservoir of M Oilfield mainly include high-angle,low-angle macroscopic structure fractures and microscopic intragranular fracture. The fracture distribution is greatly dependent on structure, lithology, stratum thickness, abnormal high-pressure,etc.Effective fracture mainly develops in the anticline core and the upper wall, which is the key factor affecting the well productivity in the thin-reservoir area and determines the development performance. The result shows a perfect agreement with the present production performance, which is favorable to inefficient well treatment and waterflooding expansion and development performance. This research could provide certain reference for the exploration and development of similar blocks.
