浅议西部省属师范院校面向物理学本科生开设广义相对论课程的意义

摘　　要：广义相对论是现代物理体系的重要构成部分,也是现代天文学的重要基础。在西部省属师范院校物理学本科专业开设广义相对论课程,将在学生的专业知识结构的改善、数学素养的提升与学习兴趣的养成以及西部地区天文学科的发展等方面产生积极效应。General relativity is of great importance in the context of modern physics and it is also the foundation of modem astronomy and cosmology. It is meaningful to offer the course of general relativity to students in normal universities in West China, since this will take positive effects in several aspects, such as improving their professional knowledge and mathematie skills, enhancing the interest on physics study and promoting the development of modern astronomy in West China.
