摘　　要：以中国南部5省区引种栽培的猴面包树为研究对象,运用主成分分析法对其观赏性状进行客观的评价分析,结果表明:优良的猴面包树其观赏性状主要体现在:树高、胸径粗大,分枝数少,花朵数量多、结实率高,叶片密集程度较低。此结果可以为猴面包树园林景观应用及培育推广提供参考。This research adopts the field investigation method to analyse the main ornamental characters belonging to strains of Adansonia digitata in 5 provinces in the south part of china. The results show that：The ornamental characters of the excellent Adansonia digitata are mainly reflected in the following aspects：high tree height,large diameter at breast height, few branches,high number of flowers,high seed setting rate,and low density of leaves.These can be used as a reference for the application and cultivation of the gardening landscape of Adansonia digitata.
